Sara and I ventured back to one of our favorites, Tio's Latin American Kitchen, for their Mezcalini Verde! This cocktail started with Montelobos Mezcal, which is blended with muddled mint leaves, cucumber, agave syrup, and fresh lime juice. The mixture is then shaken with ice and strained into a martini glass that is garnished with black lava salt and fresh mint. The sip is clean and crisp with the immediate freshness of the cucumber and mint that flows into the slight smoky flavor of the mezcal that finishes with the sweetness of the lime and agave. Watch the video above as Sara and I talk through the craftmanship that brings together this amazing cocktail!
